1. What’s the background of X-Parts Way?
The core team was formed by engineers (PCB Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer and SMT Production Engineer) who have dedicated to EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) field after their graduations from universities since 2008. Most of them have over 10 years’ of experience in this industry.
Our engineers with good expertise and diversities are able to help you with new products design, new parts sourcing, manufacturing, assembly, programming and functional testing etc.
2. What’s the location of X-Parts Way?
We are based in China, our main facility is located in Shenzhen city which is open for visitors during our operating hours from Monday to Saturday. Please find the detailed address with Google Map on our “Contact Us” page.
We have our R&D center in Dongguan city, engineers there mainly focus on resolving “tough issues” (technical barriers) for projects in higher complexity, our R&D center is usually not open for public unless members from core project team required.
In Warsaw Poland, we also have a warehouse with finished products for distributing in Europe.
3. What’s the scale of X-Parts Way?
To ensure the best performance and yield, we keep in medium-small scale for many years. The total employees are around 80, in busy seasons 10-20 more day laborers shall be joined us to support the production and assembly work.
Engineers and production line employees are the main part, then comes to office employees for HR, finance, sales and marketing.
We are not big but with high efficiency and good flexibility, most of our customers are medium-small companies or start-ups. And we also support some individual business with good volumes (e.g. Sellers of E-commerce).

1. How to get a quote?
Please send your RFQ (Request for Quote) with files and specifications to service@xpartsway.com directly, our sales engineer will get back to you within 12 hours.
We don’t open access for online quote because we are more professional on handling projects with complex requirements. We prefer that Customer talk with us directly instead of uploading RFQ online then disappear.
2. What’s the MOQ?
We support through all the stages of your products from prototypes (samples), pilot batch, formal production to mass production, so no MOQ will be required.
3. What are the payment methods that you accept?
For small amount, either T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) or Paypal will be good to go.
For large amount, we suggest T/T for less handling charge.
Both bank handling cost and Paypal handling cost should be paid by Customer.
Due to high risks of charge-back, payment via credit card will not be accepted.
4. What are your payment terms?
Payment terms will be provided as per our cooperation status.
For new order or small amount, we require 100% payment in advance.
For regular orders or large amount, we can discuss terms accordingly.
We have released terms for some old customers who have good cooperation with us for years.
We also canceled terms for some customers with overdue payments.
5. What’s your lead time?
It depends on the features (volumes and complexity) and requirements of your projects.
For bare PCB order, lead time is various from 48 hours, 3-5 days, 5-7 days or longer.
For components order, domestic sources (1- 3 days); overseas sources (1-3 weeks) or longer.
For PCBA order, prototypes (10-20 days); formal production (2-4 weeks) or longer.
For other products (spare parts, accessories and automotive electronics etc.), lead time will be confirmed before you order.
There are many factors which may affect the lead time, we will double confirm it and reach agreement before you order.
6. How to place the order?
Please send your latest files package with detailed requirements and your PO (Purchase Order) in written to your sales engineer. We will confirm your files and PO in written as a formal acceptance of your order.
Then please proceed payment, once payment received, we will start to process the PO internally.
7. What are your order processing procedures?
Payment Received → Purchasing / Production Starts → Materials IQC → Assembly Starts → First Article Approved → Formal Production → Functional Testing → OQC → Packaging → Shipping

8. How can I be updated with the status of my order?
Our sales engineer will keep you updated during the process of your order. Please also feel free to check your order status with us at any time.
9. Can I cancel my order?
Your reserve the right to cancel your orders.
But we will deal with it according to different situations – if cancellation happened due to our fault, we shall take our responsibility; if cancellation occurred because of your reasons, we will handle flexibly: 1) if purchasing or production didn’t start yet, we can cancel directly without charges; 2) if purchasing or production already under processing, we will only accept partial cancellation after our discussion and confirmation.
10. What are your shipping methods?
– Express Shipping: DHL, FedEx, UPS etc.

– By Customer’s Shipping Carrier
11. What are your shipping terms?
– EXW Shenzhen
(Customer should pick up the goods in our factory and bear all the shipping charges and other duties related to the shipment.)
– FOB Shenzhen
(Customer confirmed the shipping method before order and paid the shipping charges, we will ship the goods as per our agreement, Customer should bear any other duties related to the shipment.)
After the goods picked up by Customer’s carrier or shipped by shipping companies arranged by us, in principle, we shall be free from liability for the goods during transition. So for high value goods, we strongly suggest Customer to buy insurance to avoid possible damages or losses caused during international shipping process.
12. Who shall be responsible for Customs tariff or other duties related to the shipment?
Customer should pay all the Customs tariff or any other duties related to the shipment.
If Customer shipped any materials to us, the shipping cost and duties shall be charged to Customer as well.
13. What if shipping carriers failed to deliver the goods as scheduled?
Every year we have stories from shipment (such as no tracking update on shipping carrier’s website for a long time, wrong delivery, damaged package or even package lost etc.), legally speaking, we have no responsibility for problems caused by shipping companies, but we always do our best to contact with them for updates and solutions together with Customer. With our joint efforts, most of the cases can be solved neatly.
14. What should I do if defective goods received?
We lay much emphasis on quality control, please refer to our “Quality” menu and “Terms and Conditions” page for more details about how we control quality and apply warranty accordingly.
15. What’s your privacy policy?
For personal information – the personal information you submitted via live chat, message form and email will not be shared / released / published / disclosed / rented / sold to any third parties. We only use your information to respond your messages / requests / engineering questions / inquiries.
For intellectual property – all the files, documentations and data of your projects / products provided to us will not be disclosed to any third parties which are out of our supply chain.
To best protect your intellectual property rights and your personal information, please feel free to require us to sign the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) before our cooperation.

1. What are your PCB capabilities?

2. Can you modify my PCB design and what will be the cost?
In most cases, yes.
Please share all the files you have (e.g. PCB original files, Gerber files, BOM, Circuit Schematics and pictures of old design / physical board etc.) and your specific requirements of modifications with us, our engineers will review and evaluate the feasibility.
For slight modifications, we will charge nominal amount or even free.
For major modifications, we will quote after receiving your files and requirements.
3. Can you copy a PCB and what will be the cost?
In most cases, yes.
Please share all the files you have (e.g. PCB original files, Gerber files, BOM, Circuit Schematics and pictures of old design / physical board etc.) and your specific requirements of how to copy with us, our engineers will review and evaluate the feasibility.
Quote will be updated after receiving your files and requirements.
4. What’s your NRE cost for PCB?
It mainly depends on volumes and complexity of the PCB.
For simple PCB in small volumes, we usually don’t charge NRE cost.
For mass production or complex project, we will evaluate thoroughly then quote NRE accordingly.
Different projects will have totally different charges, the NRE cost can be free, a few dollars, a hundred dollars or much more.
5. Can you fabricate if I laid out different PCBs in one Gerber?
In most cases, yes.

6. How do you guarantee the quality of my PCB?

7. Can you add Custom elements / information on my PCB?
Yes. We can print Custom silkscreen (marks, symbols, legends or serial numbers etc.) and QR code on each single PCB upon request. Or we can apply Custom labels (sticker/adhesive) on each PCB as required.

10. Can you do epoxy potting for my PCBA with enclosures?
Yes. Please provide operation instructions and enclosures for epoxy potting. For epoxy compounds, we can use common brand or your indicated brand.
